Being brought up in a rather wealthy family that ran a grave, he was raised up digging the grave and burrying the bodies. He had his wings removed at birth, something he is still unaware of. A morbid task to some, but an honorable one to him, since he has high respects for the dead. His father was a rather powerful magician, and brought him up to learn spells of wind, earth, fire, water, and electricity. Needless to say he is not a master, but he is still rather proficient.

Always carrying a small, old-fashioned wood coffin on his back, insde he carries two curved short-swords which he uses for fighting when the need arises, along with a shovel, for when he wins. He bears a cross on his neck to pray for the departed. He is also just a bit bi-polar, from child-like tendencies to dead on serious time.
