He was born with pure sight, meaning he could see on several planes of reality. He can sense people's auras, which tells them if they're lieing, what mood they're in and what kind of person they are. He can also see and communicate with ghosts, and can spread a weaker version of the sight to others, so that they can see and hear ghosts clearly. Kinder spirits, tied to earth, tend to gather around him, and he has ghost friends that are with him all the time. These include nicola tesla, who is interested in modern advancement and ken's sight, Jeremy, a singer that always has his guitar, and an Unidentified spirit in a cloak that seems to know everything about anything. Ken theorizes that this is, in fact, death, and he has become interested in ken for one reason or another.

He has seperated ghosts into three categories; orb, which is a benevolent but weak ghost, spirits, stronger ghosts that can defend themselves with a veriety of powers, and lost souls, hostile beings that hate the living and often attack them.

He can shift himself and others he is in physical contact with into other planes of reality, wich makes them invisible to those in our plane. He loves the company of spirits, and has often struck up a conversation with a random spirit, occasionally breaking the bonds that tie them to earth. He believes himself responsible for helping spirits to the afterlife, and destroying or rescuing lost souls.

He doesn't really have any friends other than the spirits that hang around him (if people saw you talking to midair, they wouldn't want to befriend you either).
