Hoan is a legendary alliance pilot, and, as the story goes, he flew half a ship with a leaky thadium reactor and a non-functional wormhole drive through the gauntlet, the best defended known imperial space. He is also legendary for personally fighting alongside  will elexion in the war. In recognition of his service, he was given the extremely rare immortality serum that infinitely prolongs life.
