Benjamin

He came from of people who commune and exist in nature. The Dhu Khat grow everything from their clothing to their food to their armor. They commune with plants and animals, and guide their growth patterns to give them what they want and need. They shun synthetic processes, as they feel it's too far a cry from the natural order.

However, Benjamin, after becoming an accomplished herbalist and medic, heard tale of what is called "The living city"  and made a pilgramige to experience it for himself. Once there, he found a city, built entirely out of sentient machines. He thought it as wonderful, and cold.

 From then on, he's been struggling with the idea of if the sentient machines are really alive, or just programmed to mimic it. He's begun doing research, attempting to imbue them with biological parts, in order to give them true life.

Nature (Long walks in the woods, staring at clouds, etc.), The concepts of life and death, and their implications.

His medical research, how various compounds react with the body in order to heal. 

Agriculture.Growing plants and herbs to help feed, clothe and shelter people.

Advanced man made Technologies, They unnerve him, and make him feel like nature is being forgotten. Like painting your face with a mask. It's fake.

Pain and suffering. He's a great medic, and wants to aid where he can. Although, granted, his medicines appear sketchy as hell to the uneducated.

 LoLcats. "I Is not Lolcat!"

He speaks with a broken grammar which many around him find cute. he is very smart, however, and can present grand ideas, despite his lack of communication skills.

He wears a hempen labcoat, dyed Beige. Under which, he wears a cotton shirt in crimson, and cotton pants in black. On first glance one might make the mistake of thinking he's not wearing pants.
