Buck holds a high sense of honor with his friends. He is considered to be a bit of a manwhore, but is willing to settle into a relationship. His father was a cryomancer, which gave Buck a natural afinity with ice powers.

He has a secret that has a tendancy to get out. Before he realized his powers, he was in a school shooting. His best friend died saving him, abd Buck nearly died himself. The next year was a dark one for him, with him alienating several of his friends. The old him came back eventually, but when people find out about where he went to school they usually  ask if he was in the shooting. He goes back to that dark place for some time whenever it's brought up.

 Buck is heterosexual. He tried but ultimately failed in a gay relationship. That doesn't mean, however, that he isn't willing to go both ways if needed. In the sack he is switch, enjoying being dominant and submissiveequaly.
