Surfaced in Galveston, Tx. along with several other "Deep Fins" (military designation given to deep-sea migrant sharks) several years ago. English as second language, unknown dialect as primary.

the old 'shark hypnosis' trick still works (rubbing his stomach while lying down will make him fall asleep), loves to rollerblade ("it's as close to swimming as I can get and still go somewhere"), and loves to swim (obviously).

Spilt blood is an extreme temptation to primal instincts, Ata dislikes anyone bleeding intentionallly (baited too many times)

No family (others of group are not really close), prefers to keep gills moist when possible, loves to fight (washed up with a cobalt trench knife in hand, says a lot for his idea of 'negotiaion'), and can move new replacement teeth into position rapidly (standard teeth rows on roof of mouth, replacements snap forward into place) to compensate for losing about a dozen a day.
