[Y] History
Marsha was raised by two humanitarians, traveling all over the worl, primarily in third world countries.  When she was young and traveling with them she learned dozens of languages and dialects from countrias that her parents visited to give aid to.  When she hit her teenage years, she swore off those languages, and hasn't spoken a word of them since, aside from German and English.  She can't really trace her lineage very clearly, but she has roughly brown skin, and she's probably latina, black, white and asian in there somewhere, but she doesn't know and doesn't care.  She dropped out of college in her second year, and has since been backpacking all around Europe, and through the redwood forests in California, and has traveled across India, mostly trading labor for a place to stay the night and a meal in the morning.  She's got very little money, but tends to be sweet and charming enough that she gets people to pay for what she needs without annoying them to badly.  She doesn't wear anything new, only old clothes that people haven't wanted anyway, so they've given them to her.  She slashes and ties them in interesting ways so that they fit her lithely form.  She cuts her own hair, which keeps in crazy looking and razor cropped, and she has a killer smile.

Marsha enjoys learning new things, traveling to new places,and meeting new people.  She's not big on long-term arrangements, and tends to just dissapear if things get too serious for her.  She likes to goof off, play games and coast through life, but she can be a hard worker when she feels like she owes someone something.  She pays her debts in one form or another, and she tries to be likeable.

Marsha can't stand intolerance, and she hates inactivity.  She open, and caring, and wants others to be too, so when people are closed off, it's irksome to her.  When people are dishonest, she doesn't always know, because she expects them to live like she does; honest, open, and caring.  When they don't, it catches her off guard severely.

Marsha leaves behind trails of broken hearts, people who always hope that she'll come back to them, and surrogate families, but she never stays in one place long, and since she's only just moved on from her last place of couch surfing, she doesn't know anyone yet.
