Albin Hodge

Albin grew up with a single parent most of his life, his father having died in a house fire that made them lose everything they had when he was three years old. The family recovered, but with their struggles, Albin did not get much. What he did get was books. And he read them. A lot of them. He soon started to read more advanced textbooks, and with the invention of the internet...he continued to gather information, totally neglecting any social interactions as a kid. He graduated from high school at the age of 16, and college at 19. During college, he realized that he had missed out on a lot of things...and now, he is looking to make up for his lost time, and meet people.

There is nothing Albin loves more than helping others, especially if it is by making things. He also likes contact, like snuggling, and absolutely loves romance.

Albin really dislikes cruelty, and will actively try and stop it. He is good in heart, and dislikes seeing people suffer.

Albin is a somewhat scrawny, pale-skinned human, obviously very geeky. His dark brown hair is disheveled and windswept, as if he has never combed it. He wears oval-shaped glasses over his olive eyes, practically blind without them. He always wears a T-shirt and cargo pants, often carrying around some type of gadgets within them. He also wears comfortable sneakers. Generally easygoing, Albin likes just going with the flow of whatever is going on around him. He loves meeting new people, and is always willing to help out with something. Yet, as much as he like meeting people, he is also shy. He will often stay out of the way until gaining enough courage to try and approach someone. Once he opens up to you, however, he's a very talkative and fun-loving person. He treats everyone he meets as a friend, until they give him a reason not to. He has a quick wit, and isn't afraid to say an observation about what is going on for sake of humor. He has an odd hatred for cars and other vehicles. He also says "Ah" and "Indeed" a lot. Above all, Albin loves romance, and just being with those he cares about. He possesses no magical means on his own. He has never been able to perform any type of magic, instead investing his time in technology. He avoids violence, instead choosing to run away instead of confronting. He will only fight to defend someone he loves or cares for. His weapon of choice, like most humans, are guns. In melee confrontations, he uses a special rod that can cause a localized paralysis if it hits his opponent enough. Albin has no self-confidence. He is always afraid that he is doing something wrong when around women, and will often turn into a babbling idiot if a girl so much as winks at him. However, his courage grows the more friends he is around, as well as the longer he has known them...but since he does not have many, he often shies away from danger and risk, rather preferring the safe confines of his lab, reading a romance novel. Albin is an inventor, and likes to make things for others. But when he is unable to come up with new inventions, he often picks up odd jobs that require his intelligence and know-how, usually involving repair. He gets around! Alignment: Neutral Good.
