Scout was born in north-eastern Ohio, United States.  He grew up with a strong sense of national pride, though there wasn't much to lead him to that point.  His parents divorced when he was fifteen and for the first two years, it was extremely stressful on everybody, including his siblings.  Otherwise, there wasn't much about his life that made him any different from the others around him aside from just an open and accepting mind, leading to his pansexuality.  His grades were good and took high-level classes.

Scout has two siblings, an older brother and a younger sister.  His parents are divorced.  He loves the U.S., but does not reject other cultures, taking pride in his own homeland without becoming arrogant.  He feels that it is his own civic duty to join the military and serve for at least some time, an experience he looks forward to with much fondness.  He's very open-minded and accepting of others' beliefs and opinions.
