Description
This is another drawing class assignment, one where we were supposed to do a "narrative portrait"... the narrative part of course giving the go-ahead to be as surreal as possible.
The title of the piece relates to the class's bafflement that, amoung other things, I've decided to turn gravity off for the purpose of this drawing. The title also alludes to the inclusion of Dr. Strangelove, which symbolises the influence movies have on my art (I'm a Kubrick fan in particular.) Selective color is used alot in the foreground, since the majority of the drawing is monochrome (actualy it's my own special mixture of gray - to minick black-and-white film.), but the colors are arranged in a rainbow to symbolise the gay :3. (allong with the apple) My fursona makes an appearance as well as my real person... and finally the background - desined to recede - includes a sky full of dragons alluding to my love of fantasy art.
