Description
This is that story I posted in July of 2012. The old posting had the original typewriter text in the picture. These pictures are all picture, with better close up detail.
I originally created this art work and story in late 1994 and early 1995, on 8.5 x 11 copy paper, as a book manuscript. During that time, I could never get any publishers interested in it, and there were no art work websites in 1995. We didn't even have internet as we know it back then. I also had no decent copies of it, as there were no home digital cameras then (35mm, 110 and Polaroid didn't cut it). Color Xerox copies were new, costed well over $2 per copy, and often gave very poor color quality.
I July of 2012, "Nico and Pancho Meet a Friend From Far Away", got it's first public appearance here on Yiffy after years of not knowing where the manuscript was. This is also posted on IB and FA. Having had no copies of it, I can only thank God the silver fish and mice didn't make confetti out of it over the years. Had that happened, this would have never been posted in any shape, way or form. This work would have had the same fate as aborted babies and the Tucker Automobile. Something conceived, but didn't make it out there. It would have remained an unknown secret forever.
